Farrier designed. Tested, refined and repeated in the fields of Somerset, UK.

Now we're ready.

After a decade of shoeing horses, battling the elements in ill-fitting, heavy, and restrictive gear that never quite did the job, Matt Housley decided it was time to create something better.

For those who live and breathe the outdoors like husband and wife team, Lucy and Matt, workwear isn’t just clothing - it’s essential to performing at your best. They needed something that moves with them, stays lightweight, fully waterproof, and be strong enough to handle the toughest tasks.

Enter the FieldFlex® Forge Jacket - where form meets function. Designed with waterproof, breathable, ripstop, flame-retardant material, this sleek, uniquely fitted jacket with short front and long back, lets you work hard, stay dry, and look damn good doing it. Whether you're shoeing horses or conquering work in the great outdoors, this is the jacket that’ll turn heads and get people asking where you got it.

It's taken 4 years to nail it, but now we’re confident our new range is the start of a workwear revolution.

OUTDOOR PERFORMANCE

The best outdoor workwear for your field of work

Just like the English Shire horse, our clothing stands as a symbol of strength, resilience, and hardworking roots - qualities that define our brand and link to the heritage of the workforce we design for.

Hard work is woven into the fabric of our products. Long standing traditions along with smart innovation strongly inspire us in our mission to help simplify the lifestyle of rural outdoor workers as they embrace the elements and perform; day in, day out, season to season.

FARRIER

Farrier

Matt Housley DipWCF

Having qualified in 2014 as a UK registered Farrier, Matt is based in Somerset, England; with his wife Lucy, their son Arthur and cocker spaniel, Nettle.

After a decade of struggling to find clothing to work in during the unpredictable British weather, that kept him dry, was well fitted, but enabled ease of movement, lightweight, but still remained tough, Matt has decided to take matters into his own hands and is the visionary behind HOUSLEY.

SALES & MARKETING

Lucy Housley

Not allowed a horse to enjoy in her spare time because it will always be last on the list to be shod, Lucy has found herself heading up the brand and looks after new product development, marketing and sales.

Armed with a degree and several years' experience in marketing, she brings both strategic thinking and creativity to the team. Lucy's love of the outdoors and her background in farming, puts her in good stead to work alongside Matt to design clothing fit for rural outdoor workers.
